Boy punched in face by teenager

A 14-YEAR-OLD boy was punched in the face by another teenager as he walked along Havelock Road, St Leonards.

The victim was with two girls at around 2.30pm on Sunday, December 30, when he was approached by another teenage boy  who struck him, causing a bloody nose.

The attacker fled towards the railway station with two others, according to police.

PC Antz Clarke, of East Sussex Response Investigation Team, said: “We are investigating the circumstances that led up to this apparently unprovoked attack that happened on a busy road in the afternoon. I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet come forward to please do so. You can call 101 or alternatively leave an anonymous message with the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

“Officers will be continuing with local enquiries and viewing CCTV.”  

The suspect is described as white, 5ft 10ins, aged around 16 and of slim build with short dark brown hair, which at the time had patches of red/pink dye in it.
