GENEROUS staff and customers at a St Leonards supermarket helped raise much-needed cash for a local community group for disabled youngsters.

Asda in Battle Road collected £198.59 in total for their chosen charity Triple 21.

The community organisation is a support group for families living in Hastings and St Leonards who have children with Down’s syndrome. Triple 21 -named after the affected gene that causes Down’s syndrome, was set up in 2007.
