Another accident on the notorious Fernhurst bend

THE notorious bend on the A286 close to the Kings Arms at Fernhurst was the scene of the second accident in four days on Saturday night.

Fencing was demolished by a car travelling on the Syngenta side of the A286 around 11.30pm.

The road was closed for three hours last Wednesday (February 3) after a two car collision at 6.15pm.

A Landrover Evoque and a Renault Laguna collided on the bend.

One of the drivers suffered a fractured shoulder.

The road was closed until 9.15pm while the cars were removed.
