AA invites public to open seminar in September

Hastings and Rother Alcoholics Anonymous will host a seminar open to the general public on September 24 at the White Rock Theatre.

The seminar is to discuss how AA fits into the mutual aid scheme in East Sussex County Council, Hastings emergency services working with AA and how the NHS can benefit from AA’s work. There will also be a talk by non-alcoholic trustee Paul Myles. The seminar is from 2pm to 4pm in Sussex Hall. Admission is free.

Listings of weekly AA meetings are as follows: Anyone is welcome at an open meetings and closed meetings are for alcoholics and people with a drinking problem. Mondays: The Crypt, Christ Church, London Road, St Leonards. 12.30pm. Closed. Tuesdays: Concordia Hall, Church Road, St Leonards. 8pm. Closed. Wednesdays: Friends Meeting House, South Terrace, Hastings. 11am. Open. (Last Wednesday of month - Step Study). Thursdays: Repository Room, Star of the Sea R.C. Church, High Street, Old Town. 10.30am. Closed. The Crypt, Christ Church, London Road, St Leonards. 8pm. Closed. Saturdays: Friends Meeting House, South Terrace, Hastings. 6.30pm. Open.
