Stellar support for fairtrade fashion

Former student Stella McCartney has expressed support for the Bexhill College Fairtrade Fashion show on Friday March 19 at 7.30pm.

Actor James Redman, of television favourites such as Casualty, has also sent best wishes for a successful event which will also feature ethically produced clothing designed by Harry Potter actress Emma Watson exclusively for People Tree.

Emma used her time on set while not filming to come up with her own original ideas for the range and said: "I dont want to wear something on my body that that hurts the environment and people in it.

"Teenagers who love fashion want to wear clothes that help the poorest - not make them poorer. It shocks me that even today only 1% of cotton produced in the world is fair trade and organic. "

Tickets for adult 6 , students 3 include free glass wine / soft drink and canapes.

College students will also model their own designs and ethically sources and recycled.
