Snow causes school closures

SCHOOLS across town have been closed due to the weekend snowfall.

Many however are opening later than normal so paths and roads can be made safe for pupils.

The following are partly closed today (Monday) and plan to be open later in the morning:

* Christ Church Church of England Primary School, St Leonards. School will open at 10am.

*Crowhurst Church of England Primary School. Plans to open at 10.30am.

* Helenswood School (Upper and Lower School sites) and Parkwood 6th Form will be open to all students from 10am. Check the school website for details.

*Hollington Primary School, St Leonards. The school will open for children at 10.30am.

* Robsack Wood Community Primary School, St Leonards. School will be open from 10am.

* Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School will be open for all children from 10am.

* St Paul’s Church Of England Primary School, St Leonards will open at 10.30am.

* William Parker Sports College, partly closed.

The following are closed today:

* Battle and Langton Church of England Primary School.

* Guestling-Bradshaw Church of England Primary School.

* New Horizons School, St Leonards.

* Torfield School.

* West St Leonards Community Primary School, St Leonards.

* Westfield School. The school will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday) due to the conditon of the school site and surrounding roads.
