Oasis clock goes under the hammer

A GIANT clock used as a stage backdrop by the band Oasis will be going under the hammer at a new Mid Sussex youth arts festival.

The 9ft high timepiece will be auctioned at the Rotary International Youth Arts Festival taking place at Oathall Community College in Haywards Heath from midday onwards on March 27.

The festival, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Cuckfield and Lindfield, will feature all kinds of art works from Mid Sussex schools plus live music from youth bands.

The Oasis clock will be auctioned to raise money for Haiti.
