Man attacked while walking back home

A MAN was attacked in broad daylight as he walked home from shops in Ore.

The assault happened in Manhattan Gardens between 1pm sand 1.30pm on Thursday 27 December.

The victim, a local man in his late 30s, was taking shopping home at the time.

He required hospital treatment.

He is believed to have been attacked from behind by another man who is described as white, aged in his 20s, 5’9’’ and with straight mousey brown hair.

He was wearing a blue shell suit top. Witnesses can call Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 780 of 27/12
