Mad Monday

Waiting for Video...

IT was more winter wonderland than spring awakening this morning thanks to the blanket of snow which lay across town.

The schools remain closed, and the streets are relatively empty due to icy conditions.

Some of the town’s minor roads are all but impassable, although major routes are now generally clear, if icy.

Traffic came to a halt yesterday evening as the snow fell, with many commuters angry that roads had not been gritted.
