THE FINAL consultation period for the Hastings Local Plan which identifies sites for development in the town is now underway.

The plan also provides specific policies to be used in the determination of planning applications, and is available to view online or can be picked up from the Hastings Information Centre.

A number of drop-in surgeries are being held for those who wish to get advice about making comments.

March 6, 2pm to 4pm, at Aquila House, Breeds Place, March 13, 10am to noon at Aquila House, March 20, 4.30pm to 6pm, at the town hall, March 27, 10am to noon, at Aquila House, April 3, 2pm to 4pm, at Aquila House, and April 10, 4.30pm to 6pm, at the town hall.

Responses must be received by April 15.
