Isabelle makes a splash for pool

A SIX-YEAR-OLD raised £402 from a sponsored swim in order to purchase play equipment for the Conquest hospital’s hydrotherapy pool.

Isabelle Everest (pictured centre), who has diplegia cerebral palsy, has been having hydrotherapy since the age of three and decided new play equipment was needed to make sessions more fun for children. She swam 15 lengths of the pool wearing a flotation jacket.

The money raised was also enough for her physiotherapist to access more training.

Isabelle will next be fundraising for a little boy Daniel, who has muscular dystrophy and is in need of a powered wheelchair before he starts secondary school. To support Isabelle and her fundraising email paulapauleverest@hotmail.com.
