Is Natasha set for stardom?

A HASTINGS girl will today find out if she has landed the prestigious part of Harry Potter's flame in the fourth of the boy wizard epics.

Natasha Neeson, 15, has been whittled down to the last eight from 4,000 girls desperate for the part of Cho Chang in the Goblet of Fire movie.

If she wins the part she will be casting a spell on child star Daniel Radcliffe - who becomes infatuated in the little sorceress.

Bubbly Natasha, from Beauport Gardens, said: "I'm so excited! I love Harry Potter - I've read all the books.

"I went to the open audition and they took pictures, and then asked me to stay behind for more. I ended up being in the final 36, and called back to read the script to analyse it - and then do some acting.

We met the director and the film crew - it was a really good experience. I can't believe I'm down to the final eight!

"All the girls got on really well, and we've all swopped mobile numbers.

"It went really well - I was quite well prepared because I go to the Stage Studio. But I'm still really scared!"

Vanessa Pohlhammer, who runs the Hastings Stage Studio School for Performing Arts, said: "We are all really excited and very proud of her. She has been with us for five or six years - when she came to us she was raw, but has worked her way right up, working incredibly hard."
