Helping lifeboat is a piece of cake

A GROUP of children raised cash for a life-saving charity as part of a school project.

Gregory Higgs, Ruby Kelleher and Annie Matthews, who attend All Saints School, held a cake sale to raise money for the RNLI for a homework enterprise project. In total they raised £46.18. The children, who are in year five, then handed over the cheque to RNLI coxwain Steve Warne. The cake sale was held at school and they sold out in less than 15 minutes.
