Hastings women rise against violence

THE WOMEN of Hastings gathered yesterday (Thursday) in the town centre to join a Valentine’s Day strike against violence towards women.

Ladies in red danced to Break the Chain at the flashmob organised by Hastings Women’s Voice and riart Grrrls.

The event was part of One Billion Rising, a global movement and day of protest against violence towards women and girls.
