Firefighters called to kebab shop

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a kebab shop this afternoon in Silverhill to tackle a blaze in a roof space.

The fire broke out at Connections in Sedlescombe Road South at the junction with London Road around 2.30pm.

Police blocked off the road while firefighters tackled the incident.

No one was beleived to have been injured.
