Equality activist speaks in St Leonards

GAY rights activist Peter Tatchell spoke at a GLBT forum in St Leonards today (Friday).

He joined local MP Michael Foster in the Magnet building, Christchurch Courtyard, off London Road, in urging the gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transvestite community of the town to fight for equality.

Later this evening, Mr Tatchell, who has been a prospective parliamentay candidate for Oxford East, travels to Brighton to launch the Green Party manifesto.
