Eastbourne runners sign up for Sport Relief race
MORE than 300 budding Eastbourne runners have already signed up to take part in the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile when it comes to town for the first time later this month.
The Sport Relief weekend takes place from March 19-21 this year with a series of fundraising events taking place around the country, culminating in towns and cities across the UK hosting the Sport Relief Mile on Sunday March 21.
Eastbourne Sports Park is gearing up to welcome hundreds of local runners all keen to do their bit for Sport Relief as the nation rises to the challenge.
Open to all ages and abilities, there is still time to sign up for the Eastbourne Sport Relief Mile with the chance to choose whether to do one, three or six miles.
There is still time to sign up for the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile at Eastbourne for the chance to join the weekend action. Simply go to www.sportrelief.com and sign up for the one, three or six mile challenge.
Due to overwhelming demand Eastbourne will be holding two one-mile challenges, at 9.30am and 1.30pm.
