Double award winners

THE Observer’s advertising display team is celebrating after scooping two national awards.

The team based at Woods House in St Leonards won Overall Team of the Year and Display Team of the Year at the Johnston Press group-wide awards ceremony last week. Judges praised the department’s sales performance in newsprint and on digital, as well as its pioneering work in trialling new methods. Led by advertising manager Hayley Scott, the team also comprised Rob Keeling, Peter Mead, Mason Ponti, Sarah Lake, Mark Hirst, Susanna Martin, Geoff Hough, Cheryl Maynard, Angie Judson, Nicola Cooke, Darren Loughton, Malcolm Robinson, Bev Reader, Lucy Card and Michelle Worman.

Hayley Scott said: “We have a fantastic team spirit where everyone’s contribution is recognised and vital to our overall success.”
