Council is selling off plots of land

THE council us inviting expression of interest for several pieces of land it intends to sell off.

It is looking for someone to take on the freehold purchase of land at Church Road and Clifton Road, subject to planning, with preference being given to self-build projects. This site comprises two parcels of land with a total area of about 0.26 ha (0.64 acres) and is located in Clifton Road. It is owned freehold by the Homes and Communities Agency and is allocated for residential use.

Expressions of interest must be made in writing to Estates Service, Hastings Borough Council, Aquila House, Breeds Place, Hastings, East Sussex TN34 3UY or email estates@hastings.gov.uk by 4pm on Thursday, February 28.

The second site at the former Post Office Sorting Office in Kings Road, St Leonards, comprises of a cleared site of about 0.04 ha (0.1 acres). A planning application has been submitted for its redevelopment
