Charity box taken from Worthing chemists

A MEAN thief distracted staff at a pharmacy while he loosened the chain around a charity box and stole it.

The man, described as having ginger, balding, spikey hair, went into the pharmacy in South Farm Road, Worthing, on Wednesday, May 13.

He distracted a member of staff and then stole the St Barnabas Hospice charity box, thought to have contained around 20.

The man is described as being white, 5ft 9in tall, aged in his 30s and wearing a beige jumper with another jumper around his waist.

He was carrying a green holdall.
