Arts group seek Worthing poets

BUDDING writers in Worthing are being urged to enter a poetry and prose competition.

The Sunny Worthing Arts Group has organised the annual competition for its arts festival.

Entries must be unpublished work with a maximum of 1,500 words for a prose/short story and a maximum of 40 lines for poems.

The deadline is May 31 and the winning entries will get a cash prize and will be read on Thursday, July 23, at the Heene Gallery, Heene Road.

Entries should be sent, with a 3 fee, to Henry House, 189 Heene Road, Worthing BN11 4NN or emailed to enquiries@swagonline.org
