Families from Hastings, Bexhill and Sidley braved the weather during the half term break to participate in the Family Road Trip sessions hosted by the councils Active Women, Play Hastings and Sidley Children’s Centre.

Activities on offer included sport, messy play and face paints with treasure hunts proving to be the most popular!

Cllr Emily Westley, lead member for leisure said: “It’s important to us to provide activities for local families so it was great to see more than sixty families attend these two hour, free sessions over the four days.”

“The play development teams work hard to provide these active sessions and thanks must go to them.”

Active Hastings host numerous health activity sessions for all ages and abilities every week, ranging from adult fitness sessions, sports, street play and street games.
