“It involved running two half marathons in two different countries in just one day.

“The challenge involved running the Dallas half marathon in Texas USA at 8am before flying across to Mexico for the second half marathon at 6.30pm in Mexico city.

“I completed the challenge in 4hrs 8seconds despite running in near on 30 degrees heat in Dallas and then running at the altitude of 2230 metres in Mexico city, in comparison to Hastings altitude of just 23metres, with just a few mini mountains thrown into both the race courses for good fun.

“Not only did I get the achievement of completing the challenge but I also scooped five different medals for completing the race weekend which had also included a 5k race on the Saturday.

“I then returned back home on the Monday flight.”
