What better way to celebrate

Thinking about the two Shakespeare productions in Hastings this month and how you're having a Bard Fest leading up to St George's Day reminded us of when we were in Seville and we saw bills advertising The Barber of Seville but because we were there we didn't think to check what they were advertising until after the last night of a production of the Rossini Opera.

We were so disappointed we didn’t mention it again and one thing we have learnt whilst travelling is to appreciate the beauty, the genius and the roses under our noses!

What better way is there to celebrate St George’s Day, except by supporting one or other, or, if possible, both Romeo and Juliet at the Stables this coming week and Verdi’s Macbeth at the White Rock Theatre next.

Sadly we shall miss them both.
