Well done to caring staff

I have been a resident at Mountside Residential Home for just over two years and these days we only seem to hear bad news regarding care homes.

As The Queen celebrated her 90th birthday on April 21 the home put on a celebratory tea with Union flags at each table, also red-white-and-blue tablecloths, serviettes and plates.

We enjoyed a buffet-style tea with a large cake made and decorated by one of the resident cooks.

The staff at the home always work so very hard to give enjoyment to all at these special times and throughout the year.

Congratulations Mountside and praise to all the hard working care staff.
