Wait outside church proved to be in vain
WITH news of a few shops closing in the town, one can wonder what is happening to our churches in the town.
I checked the website for a church and went there on Sunday expecting to go in, and found the building was locked.
I waited outside the church for 15 minutes for someone to turn up and unlock the church for the service as their notice board says, but the church remained locked.
Yet there was no notice on their doors or notice board to say that the meeting was cancelled.
How sad when even our churches are starting to close their doors to those who so much want to enter. Let’s hope this does not continue to be the case.
