Unhappy with election result
IAN Chisnall, who on a proper election system might have won the Police and Crime Commissioner election (Letters, November 24), spent £375 on his campaign.
The winner, the wife of a former banking chief, spent £37,000, much of it her own or from the very rich. If any other public office was won this way, I would be asking the Chief Constable to investigate. Democracy my left elbow.
