THE weather forecasters were right and gave plenty of warning of snow.

Readers are recalling the winter of 1963. In the winter of 1947 when birds froze on the trees I walked to school (Hastings Grammar School) which remained open. Technology has moved on since then or has it?

I learn that not everyone knows how to access or use the Learning Platform that pupils can access when schools are closed.
