Invest in town so as to attract shoppers

COME on Hastings Borough Council, use your initiative for once.

With all the pending shop closures why don’t you put down the rent and rates of the units in the shopping centre and lower the car parking charges?

Surely low income is better than no income at all and empty shops put off visitors. Invest in the town and draw in the punters.

Shoppers do your bit as well, I know internet shopping is cheaper but we need jobs in the local area. Let’s all do our bit, what’s to lose?
