Icy walk causes a slip

A NUMBER of people, including myself, slipped and fell badly while attempting to ‘walk’ down Wallingers Walk, which runs between the West Hill and Castle Hill Road, during the treacherous icy conditions last week.

I understand that one person, at least, suffered concussion as a consequence of falling down painfully.

I am surprised that no effort was made to treat this steep walk. I wonder who owns and/or has responsibility for the safety of pedestrians on Wallingers Walk?
