Good Samaritans who staved off dog disaster
I WANTED to express my very grateful thanks to the couple of good Samaritans who helped me out recently.
I have a new rescue dog who has only been with me for a week and a half and who I now know is very efficient at escaping and running off.
She was running at full speed last night up Vale Road towards the traffic and only the kind and immediate reaction of a couple at the top of the road, outside the Vale Hardware Shop, who got hold of her until I caught her up, averted disaster.
I hope I thanked you as I was so anxious and out of breath I wasn’t thinking very clearly.
You may well have saved her life and I wanted to let you know how very much I appreciated your help.
She will be very carefully supervised at all times to prevent a re-occurrence.
