Junior angling competition to mark club’s centenary

A CLUB is holding an angling competition to mark its centenery.

Clive Vale Angling Club will be hosting a junior angling contest is at the Clive Vale Reservoirs, in Harold Road, on Sunday (August 19).

The entry is free for Clive Vale members otherwise there is an entry fee of £4.

There will be two age groups as part of the competition, those aged between 12 to 15 and 11 and under, with the winner of each section winning a £25 gift voucher from the Hastings Angling Centre.

The competition is float only with bait limited maggots, corn and hemp. Draw is at 9am and the competition is from 10am to 2pm with the presentation of prizes afterwards.

Other prizes will be given out on the day as well. Any child aged eight or under must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited to 30 so so those wanting to come should book their place at the Hastings Angling Centre on 01424 432178 by tomorrow (Saturday). There may be spaces available on the day but this cannot be guaranteed.
