HUNDREDS of people attended a Jobs Fair at Sussex Coast College organised by the town’s MP Amber Rudd.
Jobseekers piled into the Station Plaza building last Thursday to meet the 35 employers who held stands on campus.
There were employers from across 1066 country and beyond offering advice and information on everything from apprenticeships to training programmes.
Seminars were also provided on how to write a CV.
The college also offered short intense courses in core skills, business admin and IT.
The number of jobs and training places provided will not be known for a few weeks.
Justin Rollings, spokesman for Sussex Coast College, said: “The event was a tremmendous success and we had a high volume of visitors.
“It was a great opportunity to promote the intense short courses that we also offer.
“We gave out questionnaires to everyone involved and we are waiting for feedback from employers.”
