Jewellery and games console are stolen

JEWELLERY, a Nintendo Wii console and equipment and games were stolen in a burglary last Thursday (July 4).

Police believe that a distinctive turquoise laundry bag was used to remove the stolen items from the house in Winchelsea Road at some time between 8.30am and 4pm.

Detective Constable Hollie Freeman, of Hastings Priority Crime Team, said: “The Wii console (serial number RVLSWGST 2100146), fit board, games and a cream box containing costume jewellery were taken in broad daylight and we think that someone may have noticed the offender in the area with the laundry bag. If you have any information, call Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 1132 of 04/07.”
