Involving the community in planning

A FREE event with the aim of helping local communities engage with the planning process is to take place on Friday, November 4, at the White Rock Hotel.

The event, Involving Communities in Planning, held by the Environmental Law Foundation, will run from 10.45am to 4.30pm, and is in two parts.

There will be presentations from 11am to 1pm, with the keynote speech by MP Amber Rudd, and members of Hastings Borough Council invited to talk about the Hastings Development Framework.

In the afternoon, from 2pm to 4.30pm will be a workshop for community groups focusing on engaging with the planning process, and other planning issues that groups would like to discuss.
