A SERIES of fundraising events are being held throughout this month for St Michael’s Hospice.
As part of Hastings Old Town Carnival Week, The Royal Albion pub, in Marine Parade, is holding a gig from 8.30pm today (Friday) until midnight.
The Sounds of Amsterdam will be playing alongside DJ WEZ.
A coffee morning at the hospice in Upper Maze Hill, St Leonards, is being held tomorrow (Saturday) from 10.30am.

The 1066 Monographic Club’s annual exhibition will be held on Saturday, August 13 and Sunday, August 14, from 10am to 4pm.
It will be showcasing traditional black and white film dark room techniques in the Arthur Easton Centre in the hospice grounds. A raffle and refreshments will also be available. Entry is free but donations are welcome.
Show your flamboyant side at the hospice’s Mad Hatter’s Tea Party on Saturday, August 20. The event in the hospice grounds runs from 2pm to 5pm. Entry is £3 for adults and concessions are £1.50.
This month’s whist drive takes place on Sunday, August 21 at 2.30pm in the Arthur Easton Centre, in the hospice grounds. Call 01424 456371 for more information.
