ANYONE wishing to take part in a historical event hailed as a huge success last year is being invited to a free workshop.
The Heritage Open Days take place in September where a series of talks, walks, exhibitions and other events help local people explore the rich past of Hastings and St Leonards. The training day is for volunteers - either new or returning - to find out how best to get involved in the event.
It takes place on Thursday, March 17 at The Magnet, Christ Church Courtyard, London Road, St Leonards, and Nicola Benge of organisers Creative Landscapes said: “This is a really exciting opportunity to participate in free training to help promote your venue, promote access, and publicise events, helping to make the second ever Heritage Open Days an even bigger success than last year’s.”
Booking is essential and lunch is provided - call 07825 832443 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
