FIREFIGHTERS, police officers and paramedics visited pupils at Red Lake School last week to teach them how to be safe and avoid accidents.
They set up the Ladder of Safety, a series of practical workshops designed for the children to learn health and safety tips.
Pupils in year three put on drama productions to children in the reception classes and during an assembly.
Paramedics gave a practical demonstration of their ambulance and equipment and children also had the chance to try on the uniforms of the various crews.
Police officers let pupils wear a range of hats.
Firefighters talked about fire safety and what to do in the event of a fire.
