Police are asking for the public’s assistance to find 18-year-old Joseph Nelson who is thought to be in the Hastings area.

Officers want to speak to him in relation to a number of incidents in which he is believed to be involved including a stabbing in Priory Road, Hastings, on April 21.

The victim, an 18-year-old man from Hastings, sustained five stab wounds during the attack, none of which were life-threatening.

As a result of this incident Nelson is also wanted on recall to prison for breaching the terms of his licence.

He was released from prison in April having been sentenced to five months for burglary offences.

Nelson is described as white, around 6ft 4ins tall and of skinny build, with dark brown hair and green eyes.

Anyone who sees him or knows of his whereabouts should call police on 101 quoting serial 1123 of 27/04.
