A road resurfacing scheme in the town centre is due to end tomorrow (Wednesday, August 5).
East Sussex County Council’s highways teams started work on the project on July 5 in Braybrooke Road, Cambridge Gardens, Cornwallis Terrace and Station Junction.
The roads have been closed in three phases during the work, with Cornwallis Terrace closed throughout.
The first phase saw work carried out from South Terrace to Holmesdale Gardens, the second affected a two-way section of Cornwallis Terrace and the final phase ran from Cornwallis Terrace to Station Approach, including the four-way crossroads.
Work was also carried out over two nights at the entrance to Hastings Railway Station.
