Hastings Pier is being officially reopened today in an invite only gala celebration.
The seaside attraction was gutted in a fire in 2010, but reopened last month following efforts from the public, Hastings Pier Charity and other organisations to get it rebuilt.
Decked out in multi-coloured flags, the pier is only accessible to ticket-holders for the event but will be open as normal tomorrow.
invitations to the ribbon-cutting ceremony and following celebrations were issued to contributors, shareholders and current volunteers as well as other public figures.
The 144-year-old landmark cost £14.2 million to redevelop.
