Four Hastings men ‘braved the shave’ at the weekend in support of Macmillan Cancer Support and raised around £1,400.
Nigel Targett of Gaby Hardwicke Solicitors, Sam Carter of Ashdown Hurrey Accountants and Dominic Buggy of O Bogaigh Business Solutions had their head’s shaved by hairdressers Unique Hair and Beauty Boutique on Friday (August 28).
They raised approximately £900 for the cancer support charity and Nigel said he was happy to do his bit for charity.
“I’m feeling a bit cold behind the ears but it could be a lot worse and it’s all for a good cause,” he said.
Simon Kavanagh, pictured, went bald for the charity at the Bo Peep pub and made £500 in donations with the Hastings and St Leonards Macmillan Committee cheering him on Saturday (August 29).
Committee chairman Alan Roberts said Simon just wanted to do something for Macmillan and thanked everybody that has had their head shaved for them.
