Hastings councillors pass on Christmas wishes at Post Office

Hastings councillors visited Royal Mail's delivery office to pass on Christmas wishes to postmen and women at their busiest time of year.

Mayor Judy Rogers, deputy mayor Nigel Sinden and Hastings Borough Council leader Peter Chowney were shown around the Braybrooke Road sorting office yesterday morning (Thursday, December 1).

Cllr Rogers said it was great to see first-hand how much the hard-working men and women put into delivering the mail.

“Our postal workers do such an important job, especially at this time of year helping to deliver Christmas to many people and families in our area,” she said.

“I would like to thank them for their efforts and wish them all the best over the busy festive period.”
