COUNCIL bosses are launching a review of the support they provide to local community groups.
Hastings Borough Council plans to use the findings to help set its priorities for 2013-14.
Support for community and voluntary organisations takes a number of forms, such as direct grants, rent subsidies, and financial contributions to local events. A number of organisations and groups that get more than £500 in financial support will soon be asked to respond to a survey. This will take place between January and February.
Later in the year, the council will seek the views of local community and voluntary sector organisations on the findings of the review. If an organisation wishes to be involved in the review process later this year, please contact the regeneration team at email@example.com.
