GALE-FORCE winds and stormy conditions blasted the town earlier this week.
Among the call-outs for the fire service during bad weather on Tuesday morning was a report of loose tiles on a property at Wellington Place.
The Bohemia Road crew was called out again just after noon, after strong winds had forced water through the roof of a loft conversion in Queens Road, interfering with the electricity.
Firefighters isolated the electrics, and minimal damage was caused.
Temperatures are still well above those experienced last year, when snow flurries were more common than blustery showers, and are expected to remain close to double figures into next week.
