The meeting on Tuesday, December 9, was our Christmas gathering when we sang carols in English and French and listened to the Christmas story in French.
There was a tasty buffet, thanks to contributions from those present.
Our next meeting, on Tuesday, January 6, should be tasty also because we will be sharing galettes des rois – the traditional food eaten in France for Twelfth Night. As we combine this occasion with the Fete Saint Vincent, there will be wine too.
Newcomers are welcome. As usual, the venue is Holy Redeemer Church hall in Upper Church Road, St Leonards at 2.30pm.
