YOU’VE Been Framed legend Harry Hill will be presenting prizes to children who put themselves in the frame for a special art competition.

The 49-year-old comic will be guest of honour at the prize giving event at Sussex Coast College next Friday (July 4) from 4pm.

The Battle Committee of Cancer Research UK has been running its hugely successful Young Art Competition with 700 art pieces submitted from 18 schools across Battle, Bexhill, Hastings and surrounding villages.

This is the fourth year the competition has run, with children aged between four and 13 years taking part.

A spokesman for the branch said: “We are delighted that Harry Hill is coming and hope that many of the young artists and their families will come to see him.

“We would like to thank all the schools taking part, the children who have entered and their families for supporting Cancer Research UK.

“We would also like to thank Alan Hunting Associates Battle and Spoilt Rotten, Battle, for donating prizes, and all the local businesses who have placed an advert in the Young Art brochure.”

Since 2004, Harry has narrated the comical clips show You’ve Been Framed!, often shortened to YBF.

He has narrated 12 series of the show to date.

New episodes of You’ve Been Framed! are still being recorded and air on early Saturday evenings on ITV.

He has recorded TV Burp between 2001 and 2012.

In recent years the comedian has worked on a number of projects including his 2013 film The Harry Hill Movie and I Can’t Sing! The X Factor Musical opening in London in 2014.

The exhibition at the college will be open to the public on Saturday, July 5 from 10am to 4pm.
