Garden to be open to public this weekend

A hidden treasure of a garden will open to the public this Sunday (June 14), to raise money for Bluebell Ridge Cat Rehoming Centre.

Green-fingered Mary Bristow (Chair of the RSPCA Sussex East & Hastings Branch) will open her garden at 25, Ellerslie Lane, Bexhill, between 1-4pm.

Mary was one of the original people who set up Bluebell Ridge Cattery in 2000. She has worked and supported the RSPCA for 40 years. Her garden has beautiful flowers and a wonderful pond. There will also be a variety of stalls including a raffle and refreshments. Funds raised will be donated to Sussex East & Hastings Branch which runs a cat rehoming centre, and a dog rehoming service.

Entry is £3 which will go to Bluebell Ridge along with money raised from refreshment sales. Visit www.bluebellridge.org.uk.
