The Woodland Trust is offering the opportunity for people to join them for a “fungi foray” at Brede High Woods.

on Wednesday October 7.

The event runs from 10am - 1pm. Join expert Martin Allison and discover more about the habitats and ecology of fungi.

People taking part will be able to use shape, colour, smell, and occasionally taste, to identify different species.

Anne Hyatt, from the Woodland trust, said: “Please note this is not a foraging event, we will leave fungi for others to enjoy.”

This event is free of charge. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Booking is essential. For further details please email catherinevivian@woodlandtrust.org.uk. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
