BUSINESSES have thrown their weight behind this year’s Hastings Beer and Music Festival.
Organisers have been inundated with offers of support and sponsorship for the event, which runs on July 4, 5 and 6.
Paul Wilson, from the Round Table, said: “We have been overwhelmed by the support this year from the business community, from straightforward sponsorship deals to providing services and time for free.
“I think the message of all the money going back to local good causes is getting out and people are queuing up to get involved.
“We never take anything for granted and hope with the help of such sponsors we can break our target of raising £50,000 for local causes this year.”
Organisers would like to thank key sponsors which have already come on board, namely The Carlisle, Dynamic Scaffolding, The White Rock Hotel, Penn Elcom, Pro Stash Audio, Door Jammer, Kileys Carpets, Hastings Windows, Tenn Outdoor, Priory Meadow, Thomas Design and Graphics, Sellens French, Ray Bowles Carpentry, Greens Insurance, Longmans Brewery, Hastings Brewery and the Observer Group.
Bob Faulkner, from The Carlisle, said: “I have been following where the money goes and all are great local causes. The festival is a great event for the town and community and I am pleased to get involved.”
